All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

~~Hi, my name is Reilly.  Do you live alone and would love to have a companion who would be willing to be at your side 24/7?  Well then, please read on, so you can learn a little bit about me.  I have had a rough start in life, so I am shy around new people, and other animals, so I would prefer to go to a home with no other pets.  Well, maybe a goldfish or two would be okay! I'd like to be the only animal so I can have you all to myself, so I can learn to feel comfortable in my new surroundings.  Wanna dance before dinner?  Well then, I am your dog!  You should see me perform as you prepare the chow!  I feel comfy in my crate, so I go in it willingly, and will go in it anytime that you are not there to supervise me.  Do children make you nervous?  Me too, so I would like a home without them-although if you have some visiting, I am cool with laying in my comfy crate!

SPECIAL UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER: Reilly is a sweet boy who has some fears.  He is very active, loves to run in the yard and play in the house with some dogs.  He gets along with many dogs and tolerates cats pretty well but I would not leave him alone with cats.  He needs a fenced yard, but it does not have to be an unusually large fence. He is crated when left home, because when bored or lonely, he will chew on things that he is not supposed to chew on.  He loves his crate because it makes him feel safe.  He would not be good around children consistently, because they are not predictable.  He wants to be a really good boy, but his fears sometimes get in his way.  He is very intelligent and I think he is really trainable if someone has lots of time to spend and patience with him.
