All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Just one look at Hazel and you have found the embodiment of unconditional love.  This sweet girl has so much love to give.  You can just see it when she looks at you with those big brown eyes.  And she just wants to have that love and so much more in return.

Hazel just loves everyone!  She shows her love in such a physical way.  She just wants to be close to her humans.  She gives sweet kisses and if you sit on the floor she'll be right there in your lap!  She craves that unconditional attention and needs a family that will be there to cuddle with her at the end of a long day.  She's very good with kids, but with her high energy levels would probably be best with older kids.  She is the canine version of the Energizer Bunny!  She would love a big fenced yard  (will probably do best with at least a 6ft fence as this girl can jump!) to play in and play some more and some more!  With her energy level and smarts she would be a natural for a busy activity like agility or flyball.  She walks great on a leash and knows some basic commands like sit, down and rollover.

Hazel will probably do best as an only dog.  She seems a bit fearful around other dogs. And she is not a fan of chickens or cows.  So, if you don't keep livestock, you're good for Hazel!

This cuddle bug is going to be a fantastic family dog, so what are you waiting for?  Hazel is waiting for you!
