Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Dobie Greta is just the right dog for someone who wants a dog to be near them almost all the time. Perfect for a retired individual or couple. She is just a laid back love bug. Not fond of cats or small dogs, but she really loves people with all her heart. Let's let her foster tell you about her:
"Awesome temperament (except for her cat and small dog aggression). She was actually shy at first with my female Doberman. She runs to me if Casey barks when they are playing. She is very velcro, very kissy, follows me constantly. She has no known medical issues. Teeth are great for her age.  Hearing and sight are fine. She does have several fatty tumors one of which is large but there had been no reason for the vet wanting to remove them as none are in an area that gets in her way or causes her any problems.  Ears are in good shape. No sign of arthritis. She is not a food hog and her owners were free feeding her. Nice coat.  She has very slight incontinence.  Owners did not have her on Proin , but I have. She takes a small dose of the Proin. Although Greta is laid back, she does not look  or act her age. Loves to run and romp. A good girl!"
