Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet Napolean!

My foster family gave me this name when I was just a little bitty puppy and I thought I was big stuff. I used to chase my littermates and the other dogs around the house! All in fun of course. Now my favorite pasttime is sneaking up to the couch and sliding my head on your lap to get some one on one attention. I like to take things leisurely, and I'm a loyal pal. My family thinks it's because I'm like my mom, who was a Golden Retriever, even though I look like my dad, who was a hunting hound. I'm crate-trained through the night and in the daytime too! I will even let you know if I need to go outside. I'm ready to be neutered and for my next round of puppy shots. I've always been a big healthy boy, and the doctor says I'll be a 55 pound throw pillow when I'm full grown! I was supposed to go to the pound at just three weeks old, but a foster family has been raising me since then to try and help me find a home. I'm one of four remaining pups from my litter without a home, and I think you should pick me to be your puppy!
