All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Wow, what a great golden girl, what a good dog!  Mia is a purebred golden retriever, with classic golden beauty and, even better, a classic golden personality.  She is an easy and sweet love of a dog whose only desire is to be by your side. 

Mia is perfectly house-trained and has had no accidents at all since we've had her.  She's also crate-trained and will go right in when told to "crate".  She knows her name, knows how to "sit" on command, and takes treats super-gently.  She has very nice manners and you can tell that she's been a beloved pet before.  She has shown no aggression or guarding at all, and no begging or counter-surfing. 

Mia is that dog who just loves everyone she meets.  She greets everyone in our house or on our walks with a wagging tail and a doggy grin.  She's excited when we come home, but she quickly settles at our feet and just gazes up at us adoringly.

This is a great dog, already well-trained in so many ways, very easy to manage, with a gentle demeanor and exquisite house-manners. She will be a loving and loved family member.  BUT she must be an only pet.
