All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Very sweet, calm, loving, Daisy has been dealt a really bad hand in life. She was the perfect family dog all her life, and then, one day, her family simply moved and left her behind. This wonderful dog may be older, but that just means she knows the value of life and loving. Her foster says she is an incredible family dog,. She likes to follow her people and be near hem. When her foster sits on the couch, Daisy will come near and put her paw on her foot, just letting her know that Daisy is right there and watching over her. This loyal dog would be just the right dog for you to take for walks...she is very well behaved on a leash...to be a calmer companion, but most of all, to love. Good with other dogs, cats, very good with children, our Daisy Collie would give you her whole heart for a gentle pat on the head. Deals in life like Daisy don't come along often. All the love your heart can hold in one soft  four-footed package.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She s a great dog. Night vision poor, but a good watch dog w/ loud bark! Only vice is she is a major moocher-trash cans beware, ..but we are working on that. She sits, stays, shakes, and lies down as well as come and LICK!

NOTE about pic with Daisy and kitty! this was a feral kitty (Cooper) only 6 months ago and he adores Daisey ... now to settle a bet with the foster and myself.. we actually did an DNA test on Daisy.. and she is Golden, Basengi, Leonburger, setter and pointer!! yep.. who would've guessed!!

Update on Daisey:

Daisey was DNA tested and the major breeds identified are 1) Golden retriever-thus her long golden coat, plume tail and generous friendly disposition. She is extremely well behaved on or off leash, sits, stays , lays down, comes, shakes and of course licks!

 2) German Sheperd: Larger height, , watchfulness, loud bark at intruders (or to say hello) but not yappy. Smart and trains easily.

 3) Basenji: Not sure as I am not extremely versed in this breed other than no barking (no) and tree climbing medium size (again not)

She is great with elderly people as she identifies with the peacefulness, she is fantastic with cats of all kinds and is good with children though I have no person experience with toddlers and her I believe with her loving nature would be fine.

She likes to play with bones and stuffed animals and is extremely well housebroken
