Emrys needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Full of life, energy and hope, Emrys is a young, healthy dog, all ready to race beside you on jogs, runs, hikes, really anything that you might enjoy that is active. You will be sweating, he will be looking for that next mile! A perfect companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors.  Not only has Emrys got a fun, outgoing temperament, but he has already been obedience trained. A little scared of loud noises, he is most definitely not scared of anything involving agility. If you might be interested in an agility or flyball dog, or any other contest involving superior intelligence and flexibility, you have just found the perfect dog. Great with other dogs, and kids, he will chase cats, so probably no cats in his new home. We are going to require a fenced yard for Emrys, so he can safely exercise his sturdy legs. Sadly, this wonderful dog had to leave  his owner, who is dying, and this individual is wanting to see her best friend in a safe and loving place as a last wish. In his short life so far Emrys has been a very good boy. His current person, and Emrys, know he would give you his whole life and heart to be safe, and loved. Are you an active person or family? Come find Emrys!
