All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet Vega a 3 year old spayed female Sheltie-- she is house trained and in the one pick she is laying on the ground playing ever so gently with a black poodle. She is dog friendly and does fine with kids that are not toddlers she seems to get nervous around toddlers. SHe walks nice on a leash and listens great-- she was spayed when she came to us - she has a lovely temperament
I say her energy level is more low to medium (being closer to medium). She LOVES TO sit by your feet and be petted. She loves to play fetch and is good at it. She still thinks she is a bit of a lap dog.
She likes to ride in the car and get nervous in new situations but does settle down.
