All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

He was found at the side of a road with a small supply of dog food laid in a pile beside him. He's exceedingly thin and, despite being famished, he takes his treats with a gentle mouth. We cannot imagine the hardships that Harvey has gone through. His fur needs a good grooming and he has some large mats throughout. But, Harvey cannot hide his sadness at being tossed into yet another place with no one he knows. Please help put a smile back onto Harvey's face.

Special Needs: Harvey is over-coming a kidney infection with antibiotics right now.. but should be good once completed. He was left on the side of a country road with a bag of Dollar General brand dog food, no collar. Animal Control picked him and bought him to the pound, where he did well with a strange dog. He seemed to have some leg weakness after he was neutered. He was an office dog while at the SPCA and loved everybody that would get him a pat on the head. Wanted to follow our office cat around, but she was not happy, kind of made him sad she didn't want to be his friend.
