Keisha needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Imagine spending your whole life with someone who loves you dearly, surrounded by warmth and happiness, having year after year of fun and good times, only to wake up one morning to find all of that gone. That’s just what happened to our dear, sweet, Keisha, when, tragically, her person became terminally ill. Keisha suddenly had the rug pulled out from under her good life and she found herself homeless.
She’s been waiting patiently for months for a new forever home, and while we know how much she longs for human companionship, she hasn’t let her struggle dampen her incredible spirit.
Keisha isn’t a puppy anymore, but she will amaze you with how much life she has in her little 35-pound body. As you can see in her profile pic, she LIVES to play fetch with her ball and is super agile and spry when she chases it. But most of all, she wants to cuddle and share her heart with her people. She loves people of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and her bouncy little tail just about wags off when she meets someone new.
Keisha’s one tiny challenge is that she can be a little picky about her canine friends and would do best as an only pet. But we think that shows strength of character; this little girl knows exactly what she wants—to be the only apple of your eye!
Will you please consider opening your home and your heart to little Keisha? She will repay you a thousand times with her gentle kisses, loyal disposition, and loving heart.
