All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This stunningly beautiful girl has not has the best luck.. left all alone outside, not cared for .. .but we are going to change that and help her find a new forever home. She is beyond EXCELLENT with kids of all ages, including babies.. but she's not fond of other animals.. so we will place her as an only pet. She will love her family with all her heart if only given a chance. She has already had some training, too! See what her foster has to say about her:
"She knows sit down come fetch ...she is a real sweet heart ".
If you would like to add some gold to YOUR life, and don't have another dog, (Maxine likes all the attention), then this lady might just be the right one for you. She is so golden in her temperament.. sweet, loving, how can I make you happy golden!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: Maxine is waiting for her forever home where she can be an ONLY CHILD. This girl is fantastic. She is not only the perfect size and beautiful, she does not jump, she is housebroken, she is a big lovebug who just wants a family who will play with her til she drops. She knows many commands and is very polite. This girl's only vice is she is not animal friendly. She will ignore dogs who are on the other side of the fence as long as she can play with you. She is not a runner and will stay by your side when she is outside. She just wants to play.
