Rufasa needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

His foster says about him:
He's a big baby. He still has that puppy energy, but once he wears out, he wants nothing more than to just snuggle on the couch next to you. He gets along great with other dogs, is very curious about cats but has never hurt one, and has been raised around a 9 yr old and a toddler his whole life. He's unsure about his size around the kids, but he loves them. When the toddler cries, he's right there checking on him making sure everything is ok. Once, he accidentally knocked the toddler over and as soon as he started crying, he crawled on his belly next to him and stayed with him til he stopped crying. He's never growled at anything/anyone in his entire life, but he gets protective around new people. He knows sit and stay, but sometimes he forgets. He's house trained and crate trained.
