All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet LAMMIE! She lives true to her name. Just a little 10 pound ball of curls, soft and cuddly like a little lamb. She requires little to no space and is quite content to sit by your side or keep someone company all day long. She doesn't need to be walked, just let out a few times, and she is right back into your arms once again! Talk about having all the great perks of dog ownership, without all of the extra work!
Notes from Lammie's foster: Lammie is a very low maintenance little lady, who is ok with children as long as they don't startle her or overpower her. She does just fine with older children. She doesn't mind other dogs once she gets comfortable but definitely would not be a good choice as a playmate for another dog. When you're this small, the big dogs can give you a little bit of anxiety! Because she is just a tiny little thing, we would not suggest she be taken to dog parks. Your tiny backyard is just fine. She would do well in a quiet home, maybe with someone who is home a lot ... she loves just to sit with you. Lammie has mild nerve damage possibly due to a disc but the vet said that it is a minor issue. After all, don't we all have a few aches and pains now and then? She has not interacted with cats so we are not sure about them. She is housetrained but cannot hold it for extended periods of time, so she should not be left for extremely long work days. She is well puppy pad trained. She is leash trained but would do much better with a fenced yard, where she can feel safe. She doesn't need to be exercised any more than the typical dog. Lammie loves her dog bed but also enjoys sleeping in my bed beside me. She is "washable" puppy pad trained which means she will only go on those types of pads... not disposable. AND she will have to be trained to know where this pad is within the house . She is a sweet little dog and would give anything for a real home of her own.
