Dukey is an example both physically and mentally of all that is good and legendary in a purebred German shepherd dog. HIghly intelligent, very social and people friendly, loving children, already obedience trained, he is also stunning to watch as he gracefully strides next to his person, or simply stand there, muscles rippling in the sun. This is a dog with real presence. Everyone notices Dukey wherever he goes. He has always been well loved and has been raised with young children. He is also already microchipped for you, rides well in a car, walks like a good boy on a leash, is crate trained and up to date on all hi s shots. His person is heartbroken that he must give him up, but the person is being transferred to Dubai, Middle East, and Dukey just can't come along.
Here is what his person has to say about Dukey: "Dukey, is a neutered, housebroken young male GSD not quite 1 1/2 years old (April 17th, 2013). He's a big boy about 113lbs as of last checkup. Up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. My 6 year old daughter spends hours playing with him and he wants to be the best friend of everyone he meets, he's great with kids! He's completed some basic obedience and is incredibly smart. Crate trained and very social. He's definitely active and big and would love someone who has the time and the space to play with and train him. He's great in a car and does alright on a leash (a little out of practice with how busy we have been prepping for moving). Very playful and loving, he's our big teddy bear who wants to spend as much time with you as you will let him. :)
