Athena needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Just a baby, but already showing promise of the large and powerful dog she will be someday, Athena has those wonderful, deep, dark eyes so distinctive in Newfies as well as the double thick coat. Very sturdy, even as a young puppy, she also exhibits the broad head and muzzle. Still prancing about like the puppy she is, she is going to be a joy to raise into the legenday loyal dog that for which Newfies are known. She has not yet seen water, but if she takes after her breed, she will love to swim. If you have a place to take her, that would be a plus in Athena's book. She WILL need exercise. If you have always wanted one of these majestic dogs, here is your chance!
