Beauty needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

No doubt about it at all, Beauty is a furry angel. Here is what her caregiver has to say about her..."She is a Very sweet go with the flow kind of dog"  A settled, pleasant, well behaved girl, Beauty has a natural, loving, happy, even temperament. She is fine with other dogs. She is also already leash trained and looks forward to wonderful, happy walks with you. We have helped her along by making sure she has been totally vetted, including all her shots. If you are looking for an angel wearing fur, you have just found her in Beauty.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER CAREGIVER;  Beauty is a lovely girl.  Perfectly housebroken, she does not chew up things, and is very quiet.  I have only heard her bark once.    She was very matted so she had to be shaved giving her the "lion" look.  Her skin is a little dry so oatmeal baths are recommended and supplements to help her skin and regrowth of her beautiful red coat.   She gets along with other dogs but does appear to have some food guarding with other dogs.  Not with people but with growl if other dogs come near her while she is eating.   She is a very happy girl and loves attention and to get belly rubs.   Can't say too much about her outside play as the weather has been so bad that she really just wants to go out, do her thing, and come right back in to the warmth.   Other than her food guarding there has been absolutely no indications of aggression at all.   She does not like to have her fur clipped - she had to go to the vet's to get her shaving.  She will need to be brushed to keep her fur from matting.  She does not mind baths just those awful clippers!   She rides well in a car.   You do need to keep a good hand on her because given he opportunity she will take off to search out things she finds interesting.   Beauty will make a wonderful companion.
