All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Breeze is described by her caregiver as "gentle, sweet, and calm".  A very friendly girl, she has had little food and love so far in her life, but her natural good temperament has certainly won out. Now that she has been taken into rescue, after being rescued from a hoarding situation, she just shines! She so very much wants to please. She will look at you and you can see in her eyes she is asking what you want. She is excellent at "sit" and walks like a lady on a leash. We are getting some good groceries into her now, so she will put on weight. Here is what we were told when we took her into our rescue...

"This lovely girl was one of 7 dogs taken from a hoarder who just couldn't properly care for them. She is super sweet, gentle and loving girl. Due to poor nutrition she has suffered some hair loss but now that she is safe, she will be receiving the necessary medical care and proper nutrition. When she fills out and her hair returns she is going to be one gorgeous dog! But she is super sweet beyond her looks...

She is VERY COLD when she goes outside.  I see her shake.  I had to put something on her.  I sat and talked with her today and she acts like she just cannot believe someone is talking to her.  The hair she has is soft like silk. Nice girl and will make a GREAT family member."
Breeze is a perfect medium size and is good with other dogs. She will be so grateful for any small thing you do for her. At the moment she seems as if she just can't believe her good luck, getting good food in her bowl, a warm, soft place to lie down, and, best of all, gentle hads to pet her. So much love she has in her heart to give to you. And years to walk by your side.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She is a VERY nice dog. Rides beautifully in the car, laying down, pops up when you stop to look around. She is very friendly to dogs and people, but very polite. Takes treats gently. Sits on cue. Comes on cue. Stayed in the chiro office with me while I was being adjusted, lay down and watched, came over to sniff me a couple of times but did not interfere at all.  She LOVES to be petted and talked to, but is not pushy at all.  She would make a marvelous therapy dog for visits in nursing homes and childrens hospitals. There were a couple of cats at the vet, she sniffed their carriers but thats it. Went through the drive in at the bank with me, took treat politely from the teller then sat back down. Everyone who met her was charmed by her, She is a lovely lovely dog with an excellent temperament..
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She is an absolutely wonderful dog, an 'old soul' type dog, its very calming being around her, I cant explain it.
