Majesty needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Majesty's story is truly one that tugs at our hearts. Abandoned, alone, in the cold, snow and ice, she had puppies deep in the woods. She tried desperately to keep tham all alive, and she did! As the temperatures dropped, she curled her body around them to keep them warm and safe. She only left them long enough to find food. Eventually, her needs became so great for food that she ventured into a nearby home's yard and the kind people there fed her. They could see that she had recently had puppies, and looked diligently for them, but she had her precious babies hidden well and they could not find them. Majesty began to trust those people who were so gentle with her, and who kept her alive with their food. One day, much to the amazement of the kind couple, there she came for her daily ration of food, and trotting behind her in a row were five sweet puppies. The couple gathered the little family up and took them to a shelter. That's where our rescue stepped in, because when we heard the story of this courageous mama, we knew we had to help her. Listed on our site now are her puppies, and mama herself, all hoping to find a home where there will be good food in their bowls, a warm place to lie down, and, best of all, someone who will love them back. German shepherds are legendary for their devotion, and Majesty certainly has a lot of those genes. She looks to us like a pure shepherd, just a smaller version, at only 45 lbs. She is very thin, unsurprisingly, so we think, once our good groceries begin to fill her out, she should be more like 50 to 55 lbs. And she is still so young, at only about 2 years old, so she should have many long years to walk by your side and know that you were the one who came for her.
