Dessie needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Dessie hasn't had the greatest start in life, but her wonderful, friendly natural temperament has not been harmed in the least. She still thinks people are great and her tail wags with happiness a lot when she is around them. Her foster says She is "friendly, former owners brother found her abandoned at the coal mine where he worked and brought her home last Dec., good with dogs, cats and kids."
An all around good family dog, Dessie is still young, so she has many years to be all yours. She would love to play in your yard, go for walks, but most of all she wants to be loved back the way she will love you...with all of her heart.
