Basco has a wonderful, whiskered face that makes us smile every time we look at him. And what a sweetheart. Still really a young dog at only 2 and a half years old, he knows exactly how to love, as he has known love all of his life, until his person became unable to care for him and his best friend Bria (also on our site). He has an advanced "degree" in loving! He is a friendly, happy dog, and just the right size for anyone at only 35 lbs. Such a good boy! You are going to love him back from the very first time you look into his big, brown eyes. If you are interested in a pair who already know and love each other, definitely go check out Bria, too, but we do have them up for adoption separately. Basco will make an excellent, easy best friend and family dog, all ready for romps in the backyard, walks by your side, and scratches behind his ears when you say "good boy!" He is good with other dogs, so taking him places will be great and for an added bonus, we have gotten him all his shots and had him neutered for you. Basco is ready to go!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: hen we have him outside, he walks up to you as if to say -- "I just want to be with you can I hang with you?" This boy is a great dog! So laidback -- would be a great "couch potato" or a lap dog yes a lap dog -- I guarantee he will try to get on your lap for love!! All he wants is a home again.
