All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Little Lou is a sweet little puppy who is all ready to learn from you what you want him to know. He would love to play in your backyard, romp in the livingroom, go for walks, and most of all, love you with all his heart. He should grow into a nice, medium sized dog when he gets to be his big boy size.  Still full of puppy play and puppy kisses, Little Lou hopes you will come for him soon, so he can start being the good boy for you that he has it in him to be. The sooner you find each other, the sooner he can start practicing to be the best dog you have ever had.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Louie, Louie, we call him. , a bold and playful guy, always up for a game of kill the stuffed fox or to retrieve a ball, any ball! He loves his food and is growing so fast now.  Snow was no obstacle, once you shoveled a path thru it to do business.  He crates at night and sleeps thru the night. He just takes some toys to bed.A Says Little Lou... I have been learning to heel on the leash and not to go potty in the house. I don't make too many mistakes if someone opens the door when I need to go out! Pretty good for a puppy!
UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER:Louie is a wonderful little guy, he will be about 45-50 pounds once he is grown up. We have 12 cats and 2 older large dogs, I am also fostering a 7 month old large puppy. He is really good with all the dogs and cats. He wants to play so some of the cats play chase with him, some ignore him and just walk away and some may get tired of the game and spit and pop him without claws, He knows when to walk away and does not get angry about any of this. He has met many children at events and LOVES them. He just wants to kiss them. . He loves retrieving tennis balls and if you toss one he immediately diverts his play to ball. He is getting really good about housebreaking, you just have to let him out often and no accidents!  He is smart and very sweet but does love to play!
