Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Oreo

Here is Miss Oreo loving life and being treated like s Queen. She is in her furever home at Pam Parkers and loving it. It was love at first sight.

Owen

Update (7/24/15)-

He is doing well around all of the dogs we run into around the neighborhood. In fact has become quite close friends with a few of them. The same goes for at my parents house when both, my girlfriend and myself, are working. As for the training classes, we are leaning towards SIT MEANS SIT training so we will hopefully be able to train him more here at the house. He knows the basic commands currently, SIT, LAY DOWN, WAIT, LEAVE IT (still working on that one), HIGH FIVE (each paw), and CRATE or NIGHT NIGHT. Now we are trying to work on waiting back away from the door to let friends and family in the door.

Anyway, overall recap;

Thank you again for the opportunity to adopt a great dog. He's up to over 50 pounds at just under 7 months old, picking up all commands quickly, learning and exploring everything and everywhere, and providing the house with unconditional love and companionship.

Thank you again.

Update (4/25/15)-

Now for an update on the little dude. So, he's doing great within the household and warming up to Becca, myself, and pretty much everyone else he has met, dogs included even though they are across the street and he is barking at them and hiding behind us. The bark is obviously far worse than his bite ;)

The good news though, he is eating like a hungry, hungry hippo and growing at the rate of about 3 pounds a week. He's learning basic sit, lay down, and stay commands rather quickly. Despite losing his hair because of the mange, we couldn't be happier with him and the adoption. So thank you again for everything and allowing us to adopt a great puppy.

And in case you can't tell from two of the three pictures, he really likes to be outside.

Thank you again.

Thank you.

Eric Russell

Ozzie

Riley (fka Ozzie) is doing well. He just finished his heartworm treatment so we'll know more after his next visit to the Vet. We've begun his training through the Smart Dog University. He's catching on slowly. We have a problem with knowing when he needs to go out to pee. He doesn't let us know. AND he doesn't seem to want to go down off the deck into the fenced in yard without one of us. Today just so happens to be the anniversary of the death of our sweet Buddy. We are happy to have Riley. He's a REAL REAL SWEET BOY! We LOVE HIM SO MUCH!
