Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Randolf

Randy and his new brother (Gordon was adopted at the same time) are getting along wonderfully! Gini and Paul tell us that the dogs "are doing well beyond our expectations!"

Raz

Just dropping a quick update... Benson (formerly known as Raz) is getting along great with his brother, they are starting to bond and really love each other. He is still as rambunctious as ever. We start intermediate training classes with him this coming weekend, he is doing great with training and becoming a very sophisticated boy!! Thanks, The Ferguson's

Robbie

Robbie has a host of squeaky animal friends now with a couple more added at Christmas. Somehow, he made it through training. Secret is to wear him out (before he wears us out first :)

Rusty

Sending Holiday wishes to everyone at Rescue Out Reach from Riley and family! Just wanted to let you know that Riley has been such a wonderful addition to our family and is doing well. He’s starting week 3 of obedience school and has been a star student; do especially well at “come”. Everyone in the neighborhood just loves him and he has been meeting some of his extended family as they come to visit over the holidays. We could not have asked for a better more loveable dog! Thank you so much for entrusting Riley to us and we’ll keep in touch! Mike, Sue and Riley Hempen

Rodney

When we our 16 year-old dog died, we were absolutely devastated. The kids had never known life without Gus, and being a family that isn’t complete without at least one canine, they were soon asking, “When are we going to get a dog?” Mom’s answer was, “When it’s time, a dog will find us.” That time came sooner than expected when our neighbor called to “suggest” that we meet Rodney. As soon as we did, there was no doubt that we’d been “found.” There was also no question about changing his name after the kids pragmatically stated, “How would you like it if someone kept changing your name?” And surprisingly, there was also no adjustment period - at least for Rodney. (The cat might tell you something entirely different.) As soon as Rodney stepped though the door into the house, he was right at home. While full of boundless energy, he’s also fairly respectful of the boundaries we’ve set. We’ve been enjoying lots of walks and trips to the park. He especially likes to go “creek walking” with the kids and chasing anything we throw. He’s also enjoying some basic search and rescue – at least what we can remember from training that we did with another dog more than a decade ago. We couldn’t be happier that Rodney joined our family!
