Lana was adopted today. She saw her new parents and immediately ran over to them with her tail wagging! It was love at first sight for all three of them!
Lana is settling very nicely and quickly into our home. She is such a sweet and gentle girl. She met our 3 year-old and 1 ½ year-old grandsons today and she was wonderful with them! She is very tired, though, so hopefully she'll get a good night's sleep.

Update-
So good to hear from you and thank you for checking in to see how Lana is doing! She is such a sweet girl and is settling in well! I've attached a couple of recent pictures.
We had a DNA test done on Lana a few weeks ago and found that she is not a shepherd/collie mix, rather, she is a Labrador retriever/Miniature Longhaired Dachshund mix!
