Fendi needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Fendi has had a lifetime of being well cared for and then suddenly her person became very ill and Fendi went from being "mama's baby" to a boarding kennel. She longs for those days back on the couch next to her person. We thought you might like to hear what the kennel caregiver has to say about her...""It is reported that she’s fine with other dogs and kids. She does not like to be crated (she wants to be with you) . Vet says sweet but doesn’t like to be groomed. Good with kids and other dogs.

Fendi is functionally blind with no chance to restore her sight at this stage. She does have does dazzle in the right eye so we believe she can follow some images in bright lights and sees some light or motion. Since she is a little timid at initial touch we would only consider families with older considerate children. Otherwise Fenndi is very healthy with her blood work values all being good.

She needs meds when being groomed (getting additional information) and is a bit spoiled, but that is as it should be, as she is a little princess. She said the dog was well cared for until owner got sick. So i think she will be happy to be out of boarding and back in a home." If you are ready to add a small princess to your life, do come visit with Fendi. You will find your new cuddly
'companion.

Fendi is in a foster home in MD now. She has already settled in pretty well, going around the perimeters of the room to find everything she needs like the water bowl and where her beds are located. She is very smart and is doing fine with the resident four dogs. Since she cannot see she will become startled if you touch her too quickly so you have to let her smell you and she is fine. She appears to be housetrained and so far has been a joy.
