Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Nickel could be an ambassador for his breed. A wonderful, outgoing, friendly guy, he is everything anyone could possibly ever want in their dog. He doesn't harbor even one mean gene. He is an old style pitbull, like the ones that were known to be outstanding family dogs a century ago, before all the bad rap got attached to them. But here is Nickel, ready to disprove it all. You will never find such a happy, friendly guy. But let his foster describe im to you:

He is fully vetted, gets along with any dog, gets along with cats and as anyone can see by the picture, he loves his ball. He will chase it and play keep away for hours if you are up to it. He is also very smart. He is crate-trained, housetrained and walks on a leash beautifully. He could easily be a therapy dog or agility or even a search and rescue. He loves to work and play. He is all pitbull as I met both parents so there is no denying the breed but what a great dog. He is ready to be the best dog you have ever had.
