Weebit
I wanted to let you know that since Weebs came home with me in September he is doing awesomely. He has settled into our townhouse well. He loves laying in the living room and watching the little kids play in the tot lot across the street (and of course, valiantly defending the house from the evil flags at the model home!).
He and his new brother were quick friends. Even though Minkah likes to act like the too cool older brother, when he thinks I'm not looking he likes to snuggle on the couch with his brother. They rest their chins on each others' butts and make the most adorable little circle of white fluff.
Weebs also loves to visit his grandma and grandpa's house during the day. He has set up an elaborate game of war with the squirrels in their backyard; so far there is no clear winner.
I've attached a picture for you so you can see how he's doing. He's gotten so big! We just celebrated his first birthday tonight (hence the cupcake :).
Thank you so much for all that you do to help little guys and girls like Weebs. I couldn't imagine my life without him and am so grateful that you took him in and brought us together.
Waldo
Waldo is doing great. I really enjoyed my time off with him. We've been working on "wait" "bed" "down" as well as "sit" (but he had that one down from you guys :)). He's so smart and learns so quickly. He knows where the door is when he wants to go out and we haven't had a single accident. He loves the back yard and running around out there with Leila and chasing toys as well as birds that come to the birdbath. His favorite toy is that blue jollyball he has with him in the pictures. He and Leila have both done great the past two days when I had to go to work, no messes or anything in the house when I came home. He's been sleeping great at night and loves the dog bed and he and Leila are still switching back and forth between each other's beds some nights. I'll go to bed and everyone is in one place and wake up and they've switched places but whatever seems to work for them - it doesn't matter to me. He is such a joy and I'm so glad I found you and him.
