Holly
It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you our little girl HOLLY who was waiting to come to RORR from GA has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She became very ill last night and when taken to the vet tested positive for Parvo -- the vet recommended letting her go because this horrible disease had taken over completely. Please know she was loved by those who were taking very good care of her for us. So she knew love until the end. RIP sweet girl!

Blaise
Teddy (formerly known as Blaise) was one giant, fluffy lovebug. After an unknown length of time spent roaming out in the harsh WV winter, this sweet and gentle boy found a home full of love, couch naps with his big, soft head in his mommy’s lap, playtime in the snow, and endless belly rubs. Teddy’s full adopted name was Teddy Valentine, (since he looked like a Teddy Bear and was adopted over Valentine’s weekend), and his new owner thought he was pretty much the best Valentine’s gift she’d ever received. He had the most sweet and gentle disposition, and was the kind of dog every owner hopes to find. Sadly, within a few days of his adoption, poor Teddy showed signs of several serious medical illnesses, and after an agonizing week of tests, treatments, hospital stays, and prayers, sweet Teddy succumbed to his illnesses. In his brief time with his adopted mommy, for every bit of love he received, he gave it back tenfold. He touched the hearts of everyone he met along his journey, and he will never be forgotten. Who knew that so much love could be found in such a short amount of time? Rest in peace, sweet boy. Love you furever. xoxo

Shadow
Shadow is ready to transition now. She said she is okay and welcomes the needle that will help her move on with her angel guides. I am assured they are with her already know she is at peace and waiting patiently Connie

Hobo

Sometimes these precious souls come to us with a greater problem than being unwanted. Hobo had a serious illness that would get worse and put him in severe pain. After exhausting all possibilities, we felt it best to not let this sweet boy suffer and be in pain. His foster family gave him love, comfort and their hearts and held him for his final journey to Rainbow Bridge.

Onyx
It is with a very sad heart that I have to tell you my friends of RORR that my sweet boy Onyx crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. How fitting it is for Onyx to leave us at Christmas time because you see the Bishops rescued him at Christmas time more than 13 yrs ago. His ashes will be sprinkled in their "Angel Field" as Mrs. Bishop called it where all of their fur-babies have gone. This precious dog touched my heart in so many ways. The excitement in his eyes of getting ready for our walks, when he was ready for me to throw that tennis ball in the training room, looking up at me while playing tug of war....and those many walks we both took in that stream and the field out back. I will always treasure those memories with my boy ONYX! I have shed tears for you sweet boy today -- but I know you are running freely through those fields and walking in that beautiful stream in Heaven! I will truly miss my boy!
